The large-scale dance quarterly program "New Ethnic Dance Conference" is a key cultural project of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 2024, supported by the Chinese Dancers Association, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and jointly created by Xinjiang Radio and Television Station and Xinjiang Dancers Association. The program aims to invite 56 dancers from all over the country to gather in Urumqi to complete the training and interpretation of 41 dances through the dance method of "ethnic + fashion", show the unique charm of Chinese folk dance, and create more fashionable, diverse and ornamental dance works through national dance as a link to integrate and innovate and explore.
